eLCs in a nutshell |

- What are eLCs? Money set aside for your school to spend on
multimedia resources.
- Which resources? Any of the thousands of multimedia resources
listed on www.curriculumonline.gov.uk
- Which schools? Funding is available for all Government-funded
nursery, primary and secondary education, up to and including Key
Stage 4.
- Where's our money? Your school should be receiving funds
already. Check with your eLC budget-holder or LEA.
- How do I use eLCs? Ask your eLC budget for approval, then
order direct from the supplier, saying you are using eLCs.
- Can I buy through the COL website? All purchases are made
direct from suppliers only.

Can I use eLCs to buy Aspex
Software products? |

| Yes. Aspex Software is a registered provider and retailer
under Curriculum Online. All Aspex Software
certified Curriculum Online products, they are Digital
Learning Products, which can be purchased using eLCs.

Schools can purchase Aspex products now, using eLCs funds as with their existing Standards Funds.

How do I use eLCs to buy
products? |

The eLCs purchase is made in the same way as any other
funded purchase by the school. Any school with available eLCs funds can
raise a purchase order to buy certified Curriculum Online products.
Clearly state that the Purchase Order is being funded by
eLCs.

How do I know which products
can be purchase using eLCs? |

| The small Curriculum Online Logo, displayed next to a
product, is your guarantee that the product is a certified Curriculum
Online product and eligible for eLC funding.
The DfES will only allow the Curriculum Online Logo to be displayed by
registered providers of certified products. |

How are eLCs
distributed? |
| These eLCs have been distributed by LEA's across all maintained
schools, non-maintained special schools and pupil referral units in
England. They are being made available for the sole use of buying
certified Curriculum Online products. |

Who should I contact if I
have queries about my eLCs allocation? |
| In the first instance if you experience any problems with
your eLCs allocation, you should contact your LEA. If you still need
