some elementary worksheets. These are displayed by a toolbar button and
further custom worksheets can be designed and added into the program by
schools.

In England AspexDraw is the ideal tool for fulfilling the QCA Graphics
unit 5A; the software includes lots of worksheets relating to the
graphics scheme and some for maths.

Information Technology
A set of 23 simple worksheets Age 4+
Learning Objective:To see how images are composed using an object-based
drawing package. Also to acquire some basic drawing skills using
AspexDraw and the mouse
Colouring
Complete the image by colouring and recolouring some familiar objects
such as balloons, boats, fruit etc.
Copying
Complete the pictures by copying and pasting one of the objects.
Layers
Complete the image by putting the objects into the right order of
layers.
Moving and combining
Complete the images by moving the various objects into the correct
position. In this way learn how shapes can be combined together to form
complex images.
Moving and resizing
Complete the picture by resizing one of the objects to make it the
correct size to fit.
Rotating
Alter or complete the picture by rotating one or more of the objects.
Select & move
Give practice with the mouse skills of selecting and moving objects.
These worksheets provide a simple introduction to making images using
AspexDraw and give practice in using some basic drawing functions, such
as copy and paste, resize and rotate.

Learning Objective: To explore properties and relationships of
mathematical shapes (using mouse skills).

These worksheets give pupils the opportunity to use mathematical words
such as circle, square, rectangle, triangle in the context of moving and
rotating the shapes and seeing how they may fit together, eg two
triangles can form a rectangle.

Learning Objective:To explore how patterns can be formed with simple
tessellating shapes (using mouse skills).
These worksheets will give pupils an in-depth look at how repeating
patterns
often seen around the built environment are actually put together, and
will
