aspexTabs is an easy 3D software.

aspexTabs is a simple Computer Aided Design
3D Modeling software for exploring mathematical shapes, their
nets and projections. It
is a 'Design & Make' software, a tool to model an idea quickly on the
computer, print it out as NETS and build into paper models.
Designs are modeled on the computer by drawing and combining shapes.
Accurate dimensions and angles can be displayed and shapes can be edited
and rendered colours. Nets and projections of the
design can be printed to make paper models.
aspexTabs is a user friendly companion for all Design Technology and
Math students.

3D Shapes
Design models on the screen using simple 3D geometric shapes as building
blocks! Draw shapes on the screen using the mouse in one simple
operation, or drag them on to the screen from a library of pre-made
shapes.
All the 3D shapes can be edited by scaling and stretching, moving
and rotating and adding colours or images to individual faces.

Nets of ShapesThe
nets of shapes can
be displayed on the screen and printed out. Nets can be rotated in order
to better fit the paper for printing, and
different net permutations can be displayed for the Tetrahedron,
Hexahedron, Octahedron and Cuboid shapes. |

Orthographic Projection
Each 3D shape or model designed in aspex Tabs can be displayed as an
orthographic projection including
both the 1st
and 3rd Angle Projection.
3D shapes and models can also be displayed in isometric projection
and as individual views, either in full render, line drawing and with
hidden lines.
